CamelBak BPA-Free Better Bottle with Bite Valve

This bottle is just amazing, I love that it is reusable without have to worry about any of those chemical risks from plastic bottles. The design is very simple but amazing at the same time. I love the drinking spout only cause it won't spill or leak which is very nice. You really don't have to try hard to get your water or whatever you put in, so don't be worried if you think you are going to have to suck and suck and nothing will come out, trust me it comes right out without any try. Very durable, I have dropped mine so many times and all it has are minor scratches that I buffed out so it still looks new. It is an amazing bottle and everyone should have one of these to save on using plastic bottles and polluting. Love the hook for when you are hiking or any outdoor sport, just use though mountain clips and hook it to your belt, backpack, or really anywhere easy for you to access. Buy one now, you will not regret it.

Like the bottle. Use it every day. i wish i would have ordered the one larger than this as I am forever refilling.

GREAT water bottle! So fun to drink out of and better than using plastic water bottles. I fill it up at least 3 times a day with water, i bring it everywhere! it is also very durable and easy to clean because the whole bottle is dishwasher safe.

I did a lot of research looking for the best water bottle before I tried a Camelbak bottle. Once I tried it I was hooked and now have three! Some people had complained about it leaking, but I have found that a leak just means there's either debris on the little flap or water caught between the lip of the bottle and the lid. Checking these two things always eliminates any leak. It's the best bottle ever!

This water bottle is great. It in unique with the mouth piece and straw, but it can't be used with sunscreen or bug spray on your hands. I just bought my wife a brand new one and after our first hik,e we put it in the dishwasher. She had used both OFF bug spray and Banana Boat sunscreen, and the bottle came out of the dishwasher with a cloudy film all over it. I called the warranty department and they told me that it is the only thing they have found that destroys the finish. The lady recommended that I not apply sunscreen or bug spray when using their product, or if I must to throughly wash my hands after applying. The warranty does not cover this type of incident. I don't know about you, but I usually use a camelbak for hiking outside where there are bugs and plenty of sun. Needless to say good idea for a product, but not the quality of a nalagene bottle.

Wow, this water bottle is so awesome it's hard to believe someone could love a water bottle so much. I carry mine with me everywhere and I drink so much more water with this bottle because you don't need to unskrew anything and tip it over, you just flip the bite valve and drink! I'm a runner so water is a necessity and with this water bottle, I do better in my performance and have more energy because I drink about 10 bottles from my camelbak everyday. Love it!

This is a great bottle. Used a Nalgene for years, only to find out it wasn't good for me due to the BPA. Didn't care for the metal and glass bottles. This solved the problem perfectly. Same bright colors and feel of the Nalgene bottles, but without the BPA issue. Nice cap. Easy to drink from while walking, which is a plus when you're trying to get somewhere. :)

My bottle makes a really loud noise when I try to get any water. It is like there is a leak somewhere, because in addition to the sound there is a very small volume of water that comes through. The sound is like a cross between a squeal and the sound your straw makes in the bottom of a nearly-empty cup of soda. And this is when the bottle's full. So, if I had it to do over again I would not buy this for these reasons: Too loud Does not suck up a lot of water for the effort expended Won't fit in my car's cup holder Fungus grows in the bite valve easily But mainly I don't like the sound. I can't drink this thing in work meetings or in class at school. I can't drink it when I'm watching a movie with friends.

I've owned three of these things and have taken them to the office as well as bicycling, hiking in the mountains, and motorcycling. The design is very thoughtful. Too bad they leak. Not at first, but after six months they could not be relied upon not to leak. The leaking seemed to originate around the diaphragm on the top of the bottle. It was especially pronounced after changing elevations in the mountains. One of the bottles was lying on its side and proceeded to leak all over an out of print book. For light use, they are probably okay, but do not trust them not to leak. I returned mine to REI and continue to search for a more reliable water bottle.
