Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer

This pedometer is the best. I love it. But it stopped working on me after a few weeks of use. Not sure why that happened. I wrote the company and they said they would replace it. So it's all good. I just need to get around to doing that.

I like this particular Pedometer because I can drop it in my pocket at the beginning of the day and it will count my steps all day.I have also put it in my purse, but am not really sure of the accuracy of the count. I really like the fact that I don't have to "dangle" it from my waist. Since I don't often have belt loops, I dropped other pedometers more than a few times. I love knowing how many steps I take in a day and it automatically resets itself after midnight. I shoot for 10,000 steps a day.

This is my fifth (and hopefully last) pedometer in the past 6 months. I bought the cheap $5 or $10 ones in the store and they constantly reset, or worse, stopped working. I've dropped this one more than once and prayed that it was still working when I picked it up. And it has. I'm only dropping it because I refuse to attach the tether. At least it gave me the option. Others don't even come with a leash. Love the different step counters. Pretty darn accurate and like that I can review the last week to see how I'm doing with my 10K a day. I would recommend this pedometer in a heartbeat.

It doesn't seem to work as well in the pockets of women's clothing as it does in mens---possibly due to womens pockets are not as deep and does not catch the movement action as well as those in men's going lower on the leg.

Easy to program, accurate step counting, fun to use. Easy to use measurement tool for measuring 10,000 steps a day.

ordered two omrons after reading laudatory reviews. wore both of them for a couple of days, and found that they were wildly divergent in their readings. and neither one counted my steps accurately. i now depend on the much simpler and smaller and more accurate and much cheaper sport line 340 ($6.95.....)

My husband and I travel and whenever we are in a new city, we like to walk a lot. We end up walking for 3 or 4 solid hours, but never know how far we have gone until now. We bought the pedometers just before a 3-week trip to Scandinavia and the Baltic region and tracked our steps every day. Turns out we were walking a lot more than we thought - 199 miles in 23 days. Except for the days we were in airports, we easily topped 10,000 steps a day and one day we even topped 30,000. Our mileage doesn't quite correspond, but it is close enough. It has also helped motivate us to get moving. If we haven't done 5,000 steps by lunch we know we have to kick it up a notch to get in our minimum 10,000 goal. We both love it and are looking forward to breaking our record on our next trip!

Great!!!Accurate. Easy. Slip it in pocket and walk. This is my fifth purchase of a pedometer and the only one that has ever rendered accurate step counts. I'm not interested in how fast I'm breathing or whether it can count competition walking, I just want to work on getting nearer my 10,000 steps goal. This makes that effort easier.

To get ready for a college reunion I decided to start working out more seriously so I purchased this pedometer. It was a great buy!!! I can keep track of how far I walk in a day and if I work out aerobically, it keeps track of that, also. It has a neat little clip with an elastic band attached so I can clip it to my short's pocket and know it will stay in place. Incidentally, it can be placed in a pocket and still keep an accurate count. In addition, it keeps track of the number of steps for seven days so you can check your progress. I'm confident I'll reach the goal I've set for my college class reunion and a lot of the credit goes to this simple-to-use little pedometer. I'd definitely buy it again!!!

Working perfectly, love the fact that it reverts to zero so it's ready to go every morning!
